1. Future - Itchin’

The key to enjoying Future is to completely disregard the words that are coming out of his mouth and just treat his voice like another instrument. Homeboy is mad ig’nant!  His flow on the second verse is tight.

Mike Will’s beats are tops. There are many heat rocks on his last mixtape btw.

  2. Joey Bada$$ Feat. CJ Fly - “Hardknock” (Prod. Lewis Parker)

Joey and his peoples are comin’ for y’all.

  3. Py - Lungs (Produced by George FitzGerald)

Heard a preview of this mixtape from Py a few months back. I like her voice. I dig the production. It works for me….

    Port St. Willow - Amawalk

As a kid, Port St. Willow Frontman Nick Principe tried to convince himself not to play music. We’re happy he didn’t succeed.”

Zdar - How Do You See Me Now

This song brings back fond (read: hazy) memories of my days at the W Hotel Montreal back in 2005. This track is like heaven on earth, offering production courtesy of Le Knight Club  (Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (1/2 of Daft Punk) and  Éric Chedeville) and the slick vocal stylings of Philippe Cerboneschi. Philippe is also known as Philippe Zdar and is best known for his work in legendary french house duo Cassius, as long time producer for MC Solaar, not to mention his work with Phoenix, Cut Copy, Sébastien Tellier, Chromeo, Tiga, The Rapture (read: genius).

Pheonix - If I Ever Feel Better  (killer)

  10. Xuan Pham is a pretty talented individual. He was also behind this video which is a local tribute to those awesome EL: Life The Language videos that made the rounds a while back (Barcelona, Paris, London). It’s as good a time as any to share it with you.

  11. Cora Kim - Lost In A Pool

Directed by the ever talented Xuan Pham

Cora is a great girl -  I really didn’t know that she had “it” like this until last night. Im really impressed…

    Nirosta Steel - There’s A Word

Written by Ernie Brooks, sung by Steven Hall

I have known Ernie for over thirty years and I think that he is one of the undiscovered greats of American pop songwriting–in the troubadour tradition of Hank Williams and Chuck Berry his songs are often set in the American landscape–central images of pinup girls in convertibles and sports heroes in triumphant poses highlighted in ironic contexts of adjacent industrial wastelands or distant epic natural landscapes–his lyrics are imbued with a vague longing which is distinctly American–the cowboy’s lament in front of the campfire in the middle of the night while a chorus of invisible wolves howls in a distant canyon. - Steven Hall

    I support this…
